The restoration project for the bunkers in Han Elezi represents an innovative initiative to transform this historical heritage into a multifunctional destination. The spaces created within the bunkers, which were originally built as military structures during the communist era and later misused, have been repurposed to serve three main functions: Museum for war artifacts: A dedicated space for preserving and exhibiting artifacts from the last war in Kosovo, contributing to the preservation of historical memory and educating future generations. Art gallery: A platform for promoting local artists and showcasing works that reflect the history, culture, and national identity of the region. Recreational activity space: A specific bunker has been adapted for recreational activities, providing a unique environment integrated with nature for both residents and visitors. This project aims not only to preserve and promote Kosovo’s cultural and historical heritage but also to contribute to local tourism development and community life
